Hi! I am Jourdan!

I’m a mother to a crazy, fun, cute, caring, HILARIOUS seven-year-old!!

I also have an incredibly DARLING baby girl, Kamryn J. She was born April 14, 2018.

I have a handsome and funny husband.

I’m the face behind Jourdan’s Jewels and Jourdan’s {Handmade} Jewels.
Karsyn and I recently started our own business together called Little House and Me.

I live in a small redneck-filled county in good ol’ Utah.. Where the mountains are GORGEOUS year round. Where there is really nothing to do – driving two hours to the nearest city is a luxury. Where there are tons of farmers and cowboys {my old neighbors license plate says “ILVCOWS” – true story!}. Where everyone knows what you’re doing, even when you don’t.

I’m a PINAHOLIC.

I love music more than words can describe. I’ve ALWAYS got it playing. I’d rather sit down and listen rather than watch TV any day. It’s been said that music tells the words when you can’t speak. And guess what? It’s true. I’ve got such compassion for music. It really does just speak to me and help me cope.

I twist one specific piece of my hair, ALL THE TIME. It’s a {nervous?} habit. I don’t even notice I do it, but people point it out quite frequently. And since it’s been on my conscience lately, I catch myself doing it. I’ll bet I’ve done it about 30 times while writing this.

I’ve got more clothes than all five of my siblings combined. And yes, I still need more.
I have more jewelry than I’ll ever wear. And yes, I still need more.
I’ve got more pairs of shoes than I do fingers and toes. And yes, I still need more.

Two Million Miles is a place where I share my day-to-day activities, crafts and recipes I have made, bits and pieces of each of my businesses, and whatever else I can think of. I share step-by-step tutorials on the crafts and recipes I have made. I provide affordable clothing, jewelry, and other accessories, handmade and custom jewelry {and a few other knick-knacks!}.

I hope to inspire someone. Change someones way of thinking. Help someone overcome a problem.

Throughout High School, I played soccer, basketball, and softball while maintaining a part-time job after school, running my own business, and going to college. I worked at a fast food joint for four years {I quit once I had Karsyn}. I’ve been a business owner since I was 17. I had my one-year Business Certificate by the time I graduated High School. I was just five classes short of graduating with my Associates of Science and High School at the same time.
